Established in 1850, the iron foundry ventured into garden ornament production in 1858 when Wood partnered with Elliston Perot. The Wood & Perot period (1858-1866) saw an explosion in the way of ornamental offerings including animal , figural statuary and fountains - many of which were copies of English and French patterns.
