With sectional desk compartments and a lower drawer. The mirror is the original mercury glass, sparkling with foxing. The surround is a carved silver leaf gilt frame surmounted with delicately turned finials.
The wooden and gessoed dressing glass is decorated in beautiful provincial painting.
The columns are hand-painted stimulated Rouge Royale marble and the desk front adorned with geometric panels of faux Bardiglio marble.
